It is to the misfortune of the few selected mortals who encounter with the supernatural that, from those few, do not survive to tell the tale. Despite the rare fools who wish to come across such a suicidal stumble into what they deem to be magic, it is those most unexpected who meet with things so foul. It is to the fault of human nature that simple fear has subdued the belief in the paranormal and it is perhaps also due to fear that the naked human eyes have dulled to preclude the magical fiends who are simply unseen--hidden in the population. Nevertheless, until the judgement of the creatures that hold the key to the fate of men is decided, catastrophe has yet to befall upon the earth. Before then, however, let those who live and remain relatively sane be of significance, for their confrontation with near demise is nothing minute.
